Worker’s Defense Project Seeking Interns

Workers Defense Project (WDP) is a membership-based organization that empowers low-income workers to achieve fair employment through education, direct services, organizing and strategic partnerships. WDP was founded in August 2002 by employees and volunteers of Casa Marianella, a local Austin shelter, to address the problem of unpaid wages for Austin’s low-wage workers.

Interns have the opportunity to get life-long experience with a cutting edge grassroots community organization.  We are looking for Policy Advocate, Development, Membership Organizer, and Worker Rights Organizer interns. WDP is an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourages people of color, immigrants, and LGBTQ individuals to apply.
