Seeking RMN Stole Crafters

Annual Conference is just around the bend for southwest Texas. As many of you know, the Reconciling Team prepares a few hundred miniature rainbow stoles each year that can be given out and worn by supporters during the conference. These stoles act as a visible witness to lay and clergy desire for the full inclusion of LGBTQ people into the United Methodist Church. University UMC is asked to contribute at least 50 stoles and we are looking for volunteers!

If you even have minimal sewing skills, these stostolesles are a cinch to make! You can click here for the pattern and some instructions though the “parents reconciling ministries network” label on page 3 can be disregarded. The print on the stoles can vary, as long as its mulitcolored and bright!

If you have any questions about these stoles, their purpose, or how they are used, please feel free to e-mail Mary Ann Barclay at mabarclay@uumc.org.

If you are having trouble with the instructions, contact Marsha Witton at mwwhitton@sbcglobal.net. She’s a pro!
