Undoing Racism: City Council Candidate Forum on Racism

Tuesday, June 24, 6:30-8:30 pm, Austin City Council Candidate Forum on Racism
Location: Windsor Park Library, 5833 Westminster Drive, Austin 78723images

Despite its progressive reputation, Austin is a segregated city that many people of color find inhospitable. Among the fastest growing major cities in the country, Austin is the only one that has seen a net loss in its African American population.

Undoing Racism Austin will host a forum featuring City Council candidates to explore the history of racism in Austin and its ongoing reality. Undoing Racism Austin is a volunteer effort involving people and groups from diverse segments of Austin who are organizing for racial justice and equity.
